I’m Wassim.
I’m the dad behind SPEEM. I’m a software engineer in France, and I built this app over a year because my daughters were drowning in study tools that promised everything and delivered nothing they actually used. After watching them ignore one app after another, I gave up looking and started writing one myself.
This forum is where I’d love to hear from you.
I’ll post here when there’s a new version, when I’m fixing something specific, when I’m trying to decide what to build next. You can post here when something is broken, when you have an idea, or just to say hi or share how your study week went.
A few things to set expectations:
I read everything, but I don’t always reply within an hour. I have a day job and two daughters, so my replies often come in the evening or at the weekend. If something is urgent, you can also email contact@speem.app. But anyways, I’ll do my best.
I’m not a marketing person and I don’t have a team. SPEEM is one person in his living room. If something looks rough or unfinished, that’s why. If something works well for you, that’s also why.
Be kind to each other here. Ask questions, suggest things, disagree when you disagree. The only thing I won’t tolerate is people being mean to other students.
Thanks for being early. Your feedback in the next few weeks is going to shape what SPEEM becomes for everyone who comes after you.
